Adventure Associates' newest venture into Coffee Tours with our partner, Elan Organic Certified Coffees, brings us to southern India for an exciting blend of educational experiences and historical sightseeing. On this one-of-a-kind tour, we will visit the Coffee Lab of the Coffee Board of India, enjoy exquisite temples and ruins of the 10th and 12th centuries, and stay overnight on the estates of coffee plantations in Chickmangalore. This is the heart of the coffee and tea-growing region, where we will explore the harvesting, washing, drying, and coffee pulping processes. We will also visit an Indian Tea factory and take part in coffee cupping. Enjoy a free day in Bangalore for shopping or optional city tours at the end of the trip!
