| Boundary Waters Canoeing |
Stillness, silence, and solitude. This can be yours as we canoe and portage the pristine waters comprising Minnesota's million acre Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). This area is home to moose, lynx, and the eastern timber wolf and includes a mix of towering red and white pines, tamarack bogs, and beautiful white paper birches. Hear the call of the loon as you watch the rising sun burn the mist off of a mirror-still lake at daybreak. If we are lucky, we'll even see northern lights streaking across the sky as we unwind around an evening campfire. There are endless variations of routes here, each as spectacular as the next. Our expert female guide will take you in a loop through a variety of lakes in Sawbill National Forest. Enjoy cameraderie around the campfire of like-minded adventurous women on this canoe adventure into the heart of North America.
