Women in Coffee & Coffee Harvest Tours

We are excited to introduce our upcoming Women's Coffee Tours! Our newest partner, Elan Organic Coffees, is the leading developer of certified organic and socially responsible coffees, connecting farmers and consumers from tree to cup. Elan's founder, Karen Cebreros helped initiate the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA), was a pioneer in Bird-Friendly certified coffees (SMBC), and through the coffee tours, she gives back to the coffee-growing communities by helping to build schools, health centers, roads and improve working conditions.

Our mission and Elan's blend effortlessly. Through the practice of organic coffee production and fair trade, we can improve the environment while simultaneously enriching the quality of life for farming co-ops in developing countries.

Coffee is the second largest commodity, after oil, and the second most consumed beverage, after water. Our tours are designed to build relationships with coffee producers, many of whom are women, to visit local farms and mills and to experience the entire coffee process: from cherry picking, beneficios, drying, to wharehousing and the dry mill.
