Travel Insurance
Adventure
Associates recommends you purchase travel insurance. We have reviewed
several of the major travel insurance plans and feel that Access America
best suits the needs of our trip participants. It offers several
options, it's comprehensive, and comparatively speaking, it's
economical. Travel insurance protects you and your money from late
cancellations, accidents or illness in remote areas, emergency
evacuation, loss of baggage, airline flight changes and other unexpected
delays. Please also be aware of the newly introduced Free-To-Go policy
addressing terrorist incidents occurring in a U.S. Also, there are
policies regarding international terrorist incidents, however, the
policy is state specific. Access America will cover
"preexisting" conditions if you purchase full coverage within fourteen
days following your registration, however, this policy is also state
specific. Therefore, for policies on international terrorist incidents
and for medical "preexisting" conditions please ask about the policy for
the state in which you reside.
Why Should I buy Travel Insurance?
The time and expense that you have put into planning and paying for your trip warrant protection through the purchase of travel insurance. Our primary interest in Access America Travel Insurance package is that it covers "emergency medical transportation" - this is important when traveling and preparing for the unexpected. Emergency services are very costly. This coverage is very inexpensive in comparison. Nowadays with homeland and foreign security issues, flight cancellations, baggage handling, medical emergencies and other unexpected interruptions, it is wise to purchase this well-recommended travel coverage. Adventure Associates' staff uses it for professional and personal travel.
